What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Durand HUB?
We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, and creative Bartender to join the team at The HUB!
The HUB is a new locally owned bakery, café, restaurant, and community space in Durand. We’re building a fun, welcoming atmosphere with a focus on quality food, house-made ingredients, seasonal flavors, and a great experience for our guests.
What you’ll do:
- Provide friendly, attentive service to our guests
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages
- Help develop creative and seasonal drink specials
- Work with our house-made syrups and other fresh ingredients
- Help with brunch service and special events
- Keep the bar clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow responsible alcohol service and food-safety practices
- Work closely with our kitchen and front-of-house team
- Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our customers
What we’re looking for:
- 21 years old
- Previous bartending experience is required
- Friendly, personable, and comfortable talking with customers
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Creative and interested in developing unique drinks and seasonal specials
- Comfortable working in a busy environment when needed
- Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever help is needed
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and proper drink preparation
Schedule:
We’re looking for someone with flexible availability, including weekends and brunch service.
The HUB is not a late-night bar — we anticipate closing by approximately 10 PM, so this position will not involve the late-night bar hours typically associated with traditional bars.
