Most important abilities/functions of this role?
- Produce a quality product. – Attention to detail, read and understand job specifications and layouts, catch and/or bring attention to errors.
- Work safely and identify any unsafe practices.
- Understand our manufacturing expedite list. – Requires attention to detail and an ability to allocate resources and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Adapt to changing schedule throughout the day. - Requires ability to switch priorities and focus on what tasks need to complete by end of day.
- Delegate the task list to others in the department if needed.
- Trouble-shoot issues, working with production team, scheduling, customer service and others to quickly resolve.
- Review and follow job ticket to determine proper laminate or overlay to apply
- Surface any production challenges and/or specification inconsistencies with lead or manager
- Update job ticket for any changes to production plan
- Correctly set up job to meet specifications and requirements
- Keep any quality errors separate
- Work safely at all times
- Deliver job to correct staging area for next operation
- Adhere to all maintenance processes and schedules
- Maintain proper inventory of all department consumables
