Scope:
Duraflex International is seeking an experienced Junior Controller to oversee accounting functions in accordance with company policy and board governance. Responsibilities include providing management with financial reports and general accounting functions within GAAP. Ensuring that all documentation and reports are completed in a timely manner. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing the ERP system.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
· Month-end financial close.
· Prepare monthly Financial statements
· Tax filings for Sales/ Use tax, State Business taxes, and remit Fed estimated tax payments.
· Prepare year-end financials for CPA.
· Oversee accounting department staff.
· Asset tracking.
· General ledge reconciliation.
· Cash management
· Serve as backup for payroll processing
· Assist with cost accounting and inventory management
· Perform other duties as required

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
· The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ business experience in an Accounting, Office, and/or Management capacity.
· Experience with ERP accounting software and data entry
· Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including GAAP.
· Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
· Ability to work independently
· Analytical skills
· Manufacturing or Industrial accounting experience is preferred but not required
· BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred. Experience and currently enrolled at an accredited University is acceptable. But must have at least 2 years’ accounting coursework completed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
