Job Title: Sales Territory Manager

Department: Sales

Supervisor: President

Travel: 33% - 50%

Hours of Work: Monday Through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

FLSA status: Exempt

Job Summary:

Territory Managers target new accounts and manage existing customers and markets by planning and implementing short and long term sales, marketing and product development programs that ensure that the company achieves its goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or marketing or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing sales and account management, preferably in related product lines.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication, leadership, organization, presentation and problem-solving skills. An understanding of B2B sales, marketing, market analysis and market development. Good ERP computer skills, experience in MS office software, experience in working with CRM.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee current global accounts
  • Business development – new product launches, new markets, current market penetration
  • Creates and manages rolling semi-annual forecasting and year-end forecasting
  • Work alongside manufacturer's reps on current and new programs
  • Develops and manages sales and marketing operating budgets
  • Prepares sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base and market expansion
  • Travel to current and new accounts, trade shows, industry conferences
  • Analyzes and recommends changes to product lines and price changes
  • Work directly with R&D to determine market fit for new product development
  • Work alongside Customer Service to ensure customer needs are met
  • Represents the company at trade shows to promote the product
  • Performs other duties, as assigned. Duties may be revised as management deems necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
