Position Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide a critical function within Duracell P&E group. A successful individual will provide knowledge and insight between the Project Managers/ Engineers and educates the organization on finance requirement. Specifically, in the areas of budgeting forecasting, purchasing and cost center management. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote, and in office.
Responsibilities:
- This job involves the following activities for 9 cost centers:
- Develop annual budget, document the process, and present to management.
- Lead the Quarterly Forecasting process with reconciliation vs. previous forecast and sensitivity analysis for different Scenarios.
- Review monthly expenditure of cost centers and reconciliation vs. forecast on each category.
- Lead the monthly reviews with all cost center owners.
- Consolidate and analyze data and provide monthly management reporting with gap analysis.
- Prepare transactions for monthly/ quarterly adjustments.
- Validate and prepare monthly cross charges and accrual as necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate with all cost center owners and counterparts in 3 NA plants.
- Will work with many segments and sectors around the world for their need of projects and capital spending and assist them with project creation, SAP structure and capitalization. In addition, this person will be the one-point contact for all centralized project work in small segments.
- Own the fixed asset management for P&E group and provide coaching and assistance to all global sites as well. In this job, the individual acts as the owner of Duracell Automated system for capitalization, and work with multiple parties to troubleshoot, and enhance the system with continuous improvement in mind.
- Requires quarterly management of Capital project score card. This task includes creating all preliminary reports using SAP, working with all counterparts to manage the U&O date, AUC aging and project closing globally, and issuing the final scorecard.
- Answer questions concerning Duracell Policies and provide guidance as documented in the SPI. The individual will develop and lead training in certain expense and Capital System tools and methodology as the need arises.
- The financial analyst will have additional responsibilities in the capital management group that is based on future projects and process requirements.

Experienced required: - 5 years of working in finance related positions preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Have worked with SAP and able to process transactions and create reports.
- Have experience with budgeting, forecasting in a medium size organization.
- Have experience developing financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Preferably having working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Have some project management experience.
