HIRING DAY SHIFT ASSEMBLY OPERATOR
IN NORTH SALT LAKE, UT
PAY STARTING AT $21/HR
In this position as an Assembly Operator you will working to build/assemble reels or spools for the production depatment in addition to other duties.
PAY: $21/HR
SCHEDULE:
- DAY SHIFT - 6:45am-7pm
- ROTATING SCHEDULE
- WEEK 1 - MON/TUE, FRI/SAT
- WEEK 2 - SUN, WED/THUR
- Only Work 15 days a month!!!!
- Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND !!!!
- One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
- Total of 85.75 hours for a pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime) Paid Bi-Weekly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Review production schedule and determine reels required to maintain production needs
*Assist with return reels and assess for re-use
*Assist with grinding line scrap as needed
*Complete required paperwork to ensure accurate inventory
*Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Follow all safety requirements for the position including proper use of PPE
*Additional duties as required
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
*Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently
*Basic computer skills
*Ability to measure and complete basic math calculations
*Ability to adhere to and respect all safety measures and procedures
*Valid forklift certification (In-house training provided)
OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
*Ability to lift objects overhead
*Ability to spend up to 12 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery
*Commitment to wear required PPE at all times including steel/composite toe boots, gloves, eye protection, earplugs, hard hats, and face shields as necessary.
*Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects
WORKING CONDITIONS:
*Manufacturing floor environment
*Non-Climate Controlled Facility that may include outside conditions on occasion
For Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad!!

The compensation for this position will typically range from $21/hr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
