What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricators/Fitters/ General Labor position at Dura-Bond Steel?
Dura-Bond Steel is looking to fill positions for Fabricators, Fitters, and General Labor in our Structural Steel Fabrication shop ( 1st & 2nd Shift).
Essential Responsibilities:
- General laborer for a structural steel fabrication shop
- Following instructions from supervisors and following safety guidelines
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
- Able to work in a fast pass production environment
- Able to use power and hand tools
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions
If applying for a fabrication or fitter position, welding experience and the ability to read blueprints is required.
1st shift typically works M-F from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. 2nd shift typically works M-F from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. There is potential to earn overtime depending upon workload.
Laborer position rate starts at $18.50/ hr
Welder and Fitter position rate will be based on experience.
