Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team on a part-time basis for evening and night shifts. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Our housekeeping team plays an important role in the health, safety, and overall experience of everyone in our community.

Duties
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, and other assigned areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
- Empty trash and properly dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
- Replenish supplies in resident rooms, restrooms, and other designated areas as needed.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Properly use and store cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
- Follow infection control and sanitation guidelines to help maintain a safe environment.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate supervisor.
- Respect resident privacy, dignity, and personal belongings while performing housekeeping duties.
- Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other departments.
- Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, healthcare, or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
- Dependable and able to work scheduled evening and night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Must be respectful and courteous when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and performing routine cleaning tasks.
