Receptionist (Part-time) – Psychology Salary: $18.00
per hour POSITION SUMMARY: This is the part-time evening
receptionist position for the Rita McGinley Psychology Clinic. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as desk clerk or receptionist; answers inquiries
or refers them to appropriate Clinic personnel. Takes and distributes messages as necessary. Receives clients’ payments, prints receipts. Supplies routine information regarding the Clinic’s
services and fee scales to potential clients. Assists in preparation of daily log sheets and setting
up receipts. Operates copy machine and fax machine. Performs related duties as assigned. Covers the office in the absence of the Administrative
Assistant. Assists with administrative aspects of after-hours
Clinical emergencies. Assists the Clinic Director with compiling Clinic and
program data. Completes other
duties as assigned.

Position Status: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Hours: Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. (The Clinic is open Monday through Thursday until 8:00 p.m. and Friday
until 4:00 p.m.)

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualifications: Associates Degree
from an accredited institution. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
and of modern office equipment. Preferred
qualifications: Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of
experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities
required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not
limited to, the following: Knowledge of Microsoft Word
and Excel and of modern office equipment Ability to maintain complex
clerical records and prepare reports from such records Operate a multi-line
telephone system Make decisions in accordance
with regulations and established policies and procedures Maintain high standard of confidentiality Establish and maintain
good relations with students, staff, and the general public Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the
University Community. Ability and willingness to contribute actively to the mission of the University
