Dupre’ Logistics is currently seeking a Bulk Carrier Sales Rep. (Operations) for our Transportation Freight Brokerage division in the Fort Smith, AR area.
Job Description
Our Bulk Carrier Sales Rep.(Operations)works in a fast-paced position that is at the hub of activity in our Freight Brokerage branches. Carrier Sales Rep’s perform load planning activities, coordinate load assignments, handle load schedules and carrier support duties. The main objective is to verify that the customer’s and carrier’s needs are met in a prompt and professional manner.
Key duties:
- Establish working knowledge and professional relationships with our carriers/customers
- Monitor key performance data to anticipate customer service problems, opportunities, and risks
- Coordinate delivery and pick-up schedules
- Manage customer service for all designated accounts & growing these accounts
- Ensure carrier contracts are signed and correct
- Data driven

Background Required
- Transportation Management System & Excel experience is preferred
- 1 years of customer service or load planning experience is preferred
- Dispatch, telesales, and/or load planning experience is preferred
- Ability to persuade, motivate, influence & negotiate
- High level of self-motivation, excellent organizational skills & ability to multi-task with sense of urgency
- Remains positive and adjusts to ever-changing environment
- Solutions Oriented: curious by nature, asking questions to solve customers or carriers’ problems
Experience:
- freight brokerage: 1 year (Preferred)
- liquid bulk cargo: 1 year (Preferred)

Salary : $55,357 - $75,798
