DuPont Adhesives and Sealants is seeking Production Technician to join our Hillsdale site in Hillsdale, MI!
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for oversight of some shift training, in addition to operating mixing equipment. You will also review and update equipment procedures, working with plant engineer on process reviews and updates.
May rotate through various production/process equipment operator roles. Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify methods and approach. Has skills developed through work experience or formal training. Completes work with a moderate degree of supervision. Resolves routine issues.

Responsibilities Description
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
- Maintain Safety, Respectful Work Environment, Quality, Productivity, and Housekeeping on shift and in work area.
- Train and develop team members
- Review and update equipment procedures
- Update and enter batch tickets in SAP, review and update BOMS and Routings.
- Working through supply chain with rework, block and shelf, and inventory.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and basic math proficiency plus 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment OR associates/technical degree in a relevant field plus 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good grammatical/written communication skills required
- Proficient in driving a fork truck
- Willing to work any shift, predominantly evenings or nights and adjust as needed to fill overtime
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodation, including the ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
