- Create and maintain purchase orders for production materials, components, and services.
- Monitor open purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Expedite overdue orders and resolve shipping, receiving, and invoice discrepancies.
- Support production schedules by ensuring timely material availability.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring safety stock levels and replenishment needs.
- Collaborate with Receiving, Quality, Warehouse, and Production teams to resolve material and documentation issues.
- Support Engineering and R&D by sourcing prototype, development, and validation materials.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and material records within the ERP system.
- Create and update item master data, specifications, and purchasing information as required.
- Support new product introductions by implementing new items and Bills of Material (BOMs) within ERP systems.
- Comply with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality system requirements, and company policies.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Background/Expertise:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one (1) of purchasing, procurement, planning, inventory control, or related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in a regulated or medical device manufacturing environment preferred
- The ability to communicate, exchange information, and observe details necessary to perform assigned responsibilities is required.
- Primarily operates in an office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, and laboratory areas.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position and move throughout office and operational areas as needed.
- Frequent use of a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment is required.
- Occasional interaction with manufacturing equipment and operational processes may be required.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Work is performed in an environment with varying noise levels
