Facilities Technician
DuPont Community Credit Union is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Facilities Technician role to join its Facilities Department in Waynesboro, VA.
What You’ll have the Opportunity to do:
- Assist in maintaining a professional appearance of all DCCU facilities
- Perform multiple trade-work such as: simple electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs to ensure a satisfactory state of operational readiness.
- Miscellaneous duties to include changing of light bulbs and ballasts, assist with office relocations, correspondence with local vendors, obtain necessary items to assist with the smooth operation of the Credit Union, etc.
- Participate in compliance training, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and Privacy.
- Partner with branch opening teams to coordinate delivery and set up of furniture, fixtures, etc.
- Transport supplies to all branches on a weekly basis.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Prior experience in maintenance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Applicable trades certifications.
- Ability to assess needs at hand and work independently.
- Computer literacy is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license
