SERVICE TECHNICIAN FOR WIDE FORMAT AND/OR SMALL FORMAT PRINTERS

Job Description – Service Technician Specializing in Wide Format and/or Small Format Printers

Relevant Work Experience: 2 years

Duplicating Systems, Inc. has served northeast Georgia for over 50 years. We provide our customers with office equipment and digital business solutions. Our customer base ranges from individuals to Enterprise Corporations. We provide both small and large format devices, and the servicing thereof, both mechanical and technical.

Our technicians possess the ability to interact with customers, diagnose issues, and repair the device. This unique skill set is key to becoming a complete service technician. Our technicians become the primary contacts with our customers and are an essential part of our team. DSI provides paid manufacturer training, necessary tools, and a car for travel. We service a radius of 90 minutes from our Augusta office.

Requirements:

· Prior copier repair certification is preferred

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Troubleshooting ability

· Ability to think independently

· Strong desire and ability to learn

· High energy level and self-motivation

· Strong electrical and mechanical skills

· Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving history

· Ability to walk long distances, stairs, bending, working at floor level, and lifting 50 pounds
