A. Crosby Kennett Middle School is seeking a certified teacher for a one-year, permanent substitute position for the 2021-2022 school year. Certification in any area relevant to middle school level education is appropriate. Duties may include:
- Follow lesson plans provided to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
- Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
- Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, and in the cafeteria
- Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan
- Complete other duties as assigned
Rate of pay dependent on credentials and duration of service.
Candidates who hold a valid NH teaching credential, and have previous teaching experience preferred. Candidate must be willing to teach both on-site and remotely if necessary following any changes to instruction during the school year.
This is a one-year position.
