Garage Door & Dock Installer, Service Technician
Looking for union and non-union candidates with door experience.
Primary Responsibilities/Skills:
- Ability to install, service, remove, and/or repair doors for commercial customers.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have basic mechanical aptitude.
- Complete work order paperwork (service tickets) for all assigned service calls.
- Must interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Understanding of how to install dock equipment.
- Basic carpentry skills and general knowledge of hand tools.
- Use of scissor lifts, forklifts, and boom lifts.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with components of garage doors and dock equipment.
- Ability to learn new tasks.
- Willingness to provide on-call and emergency service to customers.
- Maintain service truck with necessary parts to perform duties.
- Knowledge of how hydraulic components work.
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical wiring.
Salary: $52 per hour for experience
