This is a full-time hybrid Structural Engineer role based in Canton, MI, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for structural analysis, engineering calculations, and creating designs for projects with a focus on innovative and sustainable building solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet client specifications, codes, and safety standards while using advanced computer-aided design (CAD) tools to develop and refine project plans.
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles for designing and analyzing systems and structures
- Experience in performing accurate calculations and conducting thorough structural analysis
- Skilled in the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for modeling and creating detailed designs
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong understanding of relevant building codes and industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- Experience in sustainable design and construction is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
