We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Winery Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our operations by ensuring that all wine items are prepared, stored, and handled according to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Knowledgeably speak about varietals of wine and the wine you are serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the backroom area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food products.
- Work with team members to ensure efficient tasting room service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries related to food preparation and safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the Wine industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to tasting room and event services.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- A background in hospitality or wine is a plus ,but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
