Laundromat Attendant Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Laundromat Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing wash, dry, and fold laundry services while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and takes pride in delivering quality service.
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, fold, and package customer laundry according to instructions and quality standards.
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist customers with machine operation and answer general questions.
- Keep the laundromat clean by sweeping, mopping, wiping down machines, cleaning folding tables, and maintaining restrooms.
- Monitor washers, dryers, and other equipment, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Open and close the store following established procedures.
- Restock laundry supplies and keep work areas organized.
- Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and presentable throughout each shift.
- Follow company procedures for handling customer orders and payments.
- Complete other daily tasks as needed to support efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or laundry experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Friendly attitude with strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
