What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal position at Dunn Law Firm?
Growing 3 attorney law firm seeks Litigation Legal Assistant and/or Paralegal. Customer Service, professional skills, organizational skills, abilities to handle interruptions, and adeptness managing a heavy task list and multiple files are all needed. Will assist attorneys in: (a) Preparation of pleadings and other court documents; (b) Work on document management in complex lawsuits; (c) Preparation of discovery documents; (d) Address client and institutional questions by phone, fax, letters, email, or in person; (e) Meet with clients in phone and in person to assist attorneys in litigation process; (e) Complement the firm by providing excellent service and superior work product; (f) Assist attorneys with scheduling mediations and client meetings.
Bachelor's Degree Required.
Proficiency in Word and Excel required. Experience with state and federal court filing preferred. Must be able to assist in managing attorneys' calendars and tasks and to be a self starter. Key qualities of the preferred candidate are integrity, competency, diligence, self-starting, and creativity.
