PURPOSE
This procedure defines and details the function, reporting relationships, responsibilities, duties and performance expectations of the Forecast and Logistics Manager.
BASIC FUNCTION
The basic function of the Forecast and Logistics Manager is to forecast and actively manage inventory levels for select brands. This includes yearly forecast planning by month, SKU mixes by product line, order planning and problem solving to deliver products on time to customers and maintaining desired inventory levels.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Forecast and Logistics Manager reports directly to the General Manager.
The Forecast and Logistics Manager has no direct reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Forecast and Logistics Manager is responsible for:
- Yearly forecasting and planning for designated brand(s)
- Monthly breakdown of forecast by product
- SKU mixes for each product
- Order oversight and recommendations to have adequate inventory levels and coverage
- Daily and monthly inventory monitoring and problem solving
- Assist planning on building planning to ensure adequate built inventory
- Updating field with inventory levels and issues
TRAVEL
A low amount of travel should be expected.
Qualifications:EXPECATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS OF PERFORMANCE
A knowledge of golf would be an asset for the Forecast and Logistics Manager at Srixon/Cleveland Golf/XXIO. Additionally, expectations performance measurements for this position are:
- Deadlines: Projects and tasks are effectively managed through completion in a timely fashion deadlines/milestones are met.
- Communication: All information, reports, and progress associated with projects and executions are communicated effectively with stakeholders.
- Quality of Work: Content created is free from errors and aligned with brand positions and strategies.
- Teamwork: Projects and interactions with colleagues are constructive, collaborative, professional, respectful, and effective.
- Ownership of Customs planning and tracking: Employee must show great passion for analyzing and tracking custom safety stocks, orders, lead times, backorder, and actively working to solve problems.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
All of the expectations outlined above will be monitored by comparative assessments, interviews with managers/colleagues/direct reports, and evaluation by the General Manager. When possible, objective quantitative measures will be used.
Salary : $60,000 - $95,000
