Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their visit
- Prepare food items efficiently following safety and quality standards, including scooping ice cream, making sundaes, and handling bakery products
- Operate POS systems and Micros POS accurately for sales transactions and cash handling
- Upsell menu items to boost sales and improve customer satisfaction through friendly recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized
- Manage cash register operations with basic math skills for accurate transactions and change distribution
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Ability to handle food safely, follow sanitation procedures, and maintain cleanliness standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store transactions, and retail math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen work is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
