Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and creativity among students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all children.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities as necessary.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate findings to parents or guardians.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning and exploration.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive educational experience for all students.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Previous preschool or daycare experience is essential, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, and children.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
