We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care within our clinic. Responsibilities
- Assist optometrists during eye examinations by preparing patients and conducting preliminary tests.
- Measure and record vital signs, including visual acuity and intraocular pressure.
- Provide patient education on eye health, contact lens care, and optical products.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
- Maintain an organized clinic environment, ensuring all equipment is clean and functional.
- Support pediatric patients with care and attention, making their experience comfortable and enjoyable.
- Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Experience
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
