We are currently seeking a part-time Assistant Equipment Technician to join our dedicated golf course maintenance team. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hands-on outdoor work who take pride in contributing to the exceptional condition of one of our nation's top golf courses.

YOUR ROLE: ASSISTANT EQUIPMENT TECHCNICIAN
As an Assistant Equipment Technician, you will support the daily operations that keep the Dunes Golf & Beach Club's golf course in outstanding condition. From equipment care to assisting with essential maintenance, your work directly supports the performance and playability of our renowned Robert Trent Jones course. You will work closely with the Equipment Manager, helping maintain and repair mowing units, small engine tools, and larger turf equipment. This role combines mechanical aptitude with hands-on course support, offering a dynamic work environment and opportunities to learn specialized skills.
Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting in the maintenance, repair, and adjustment of golf course equipment.
- Performing routing inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure equipment is safe and operational.
- Maintaining shop organization, cleanliness, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Operating turf equipment as needed to support the maintenance team.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior mechanical, equipment maintenance, or small engine repair experience preferred.
- Familiarity with turf equipment, mowers, or similar machinery is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely operate and work around various types of equipment.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and maintain high standards of performance.
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and during special events.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate maintenance equipment.
