Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual that can work independently for a seasonal full-time 40-hour work week seasonal position as head gardener. Our golf and outdoor event season begin in April and ends in November. This is an hourly paid position and would start mid-March until mid-November and would be every season return guarantee. You must be resourceful, hands-on, and have a goal-oriented attitude with attention to detail. We at Dunegrass Country Club pride ourselves on keeping our landscape well-groomed for our members, guests, and neighbors.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in horticulture
- Knowledge of woody and herbaceous plant material
- Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
- Ability to operate power tool equipment
- Team-player, willing to collaborate on all tasks required for maintaining the highest standards of landscape management and operations
Responsibilities:
- Some tasks that are required: cleaning and edging garden beds, top dressing garden beds with compost, planting and maintaining annual, perennial, shrub and small tree beds, identifying and managing pests and diseases, watering plants and containers, operating light equipment such as gas power trimmer, blower, and lawn mower, and pruning shrubs and small trees.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb ladders and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- You are required to work in many weather conditions.
- You are in charge of developing an annual budget and work plan for each season.
