Being the face of our company, the RoadDog Store Associate is absolutely vital to our business success. You are responsible for the sale of fuel and other in-store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and assisting in the overall operations at the store providing the best customer service as a priority.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure each customer receives excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging each customer
- Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience
- Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc.
- Follow all city, county, and state regulations and procedures regarding the transactions of tobacco products, lottery tickets, and alcohol
- Assist customers with all questions and concerns
- Maintain adequate stock levels of merchandise. Restock and front merchandise as needed
- Assist with general store operations as needed by the store manager and overall security of the facility
- Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
- Uses Point of Sale system/cash register
- Assists with stocking of products and supplies
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the cooler
Requirements
- Operating a cash register handling cash at high levels of accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Be a team player, have a positive attitude, and have a good work ethic.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds overhead.
