Duncan Hills Golf Course is looking for an energetic, dependable team member to lead our clubhouse food and beverage operation while supporting the daily activities of our golf shop.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety. One day you may be preparing lunch for a tournament; the next, you may be greeting golfers, assisting in the golf shop, organizing inventory, or helping create a memorable experience for league players.

What You'll DoFood & Beverage Operations

· Prepare simple concession and tournament meals, including burgers, brats, hot dogs, pulled pork, sandwiches, and other golf course favorites.

· Coordinate food service for leagues, outings, and special events.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

· Ensure food is prepared safely and presented professionally.

· Monitor food quality and freshness.

Purchasing & Inventory

· Order food, beverages, paper products, and kitchen supplies.

· Monitor inventory and stock levels.

· Receive and organize deliveries.

· Rotate inventory to minimize waste.

· Help identify opportunities to improve menu offerings and increase concession sales.

Golf Shop Operations

· Welcome golfers and provide outstanding customer service.

· Check in golfers and process payments through our point-of-sale system.

· Answer phones and schedule tee times.

· Assist with merchandise sales and memberships.

· Help open and close the golf shop.

Event Support

· Assist with golf tournaments and league events.

· Help estimate food quantities for events.

· Set up and clean up food service areas.

· Work closely with the management team to ensure successful tournaments and outings.

Preferred Qualifications

· Food service or restaurant experience preferred.

· Retail or customer service experience preferred.

· Basic computer and point-of-sale experience.

· Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain after hire.

· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Schedule

This position offers either seasonal full-time or part-time employment, depending on the applicant. Flexibility is important, as schedules vary throughout the golf season.
