Position Overview
The Check-Out Specialist plays a critical role in patient satisfaction, retention, and office flow. This position is responsible for guiding patients through the final steps of their visit, including scheduling, financial transactions, and reinforcing care plans.
This is a people-first, fast-paced role that requires excellent communication, organization, and the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, professional check-out experience for all patients
- Schedule and confirm future appointments based on care plans
- Process payments, verify balances, and manage patient accounts
- Clearly communicate treatment recommendations and financial options
- Ensure accuracy in scheduling and patient records
- Answer patient questions and resolve concerns with confidence
- Collaborate with front desk and clinical teams to maintain smooth operations
- Help drive patient retention through exceptional service
Qualifications
