The Material Services Intern performs administrative functions for the Material Services team in a timely and organized manner.
Essential Job Functions
- With supervision, this position is responsible for:
- Updating and entering new MSDS in the Content Manager;
- Updating information to Excel spreadsheet;
- Updating equipment data base; and
- Scanning documents to save to Content Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Job Specific Requirements
- Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required
- Physical: Routinely lifts up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.; reads small print; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; tolerates products, materials, and fumes associated with component maintenance; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
- Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and in noisy environments
Education and Experience
- Currently a full-time student at a four-year college or university in Nebraska as junior or senior status; or
- Currently a full-time student at a two-year college in Nebraska and successfully completed a minimum of one-half of the total credit hours required for an associate degree; or
- A resident of Nebraska, enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university in a state other than Nebraska, and achieved junior or senior status
- Preferred course of study in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Management or related field
