Pay: $19.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time (32 hours per week)

Schedule:

Monday & Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Summary / Objective

We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong security presence, provide excellent customer service, and respond effectively to incidents.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance systems
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; permit authorized entry
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations as needed
• Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities and enforcing policies and procedures
• Complete detailed reports by recording observations, incidents, and activities
• Interview witnesses and obtain necessary documentation/signatures
• Monitor building systems and maintain a safe environment
• Conduct extensive interior and exterior patrols of assigned areas

• Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience preferred (security, military, or law enforcement)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent integrity and professional demeanor
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must remain professional and courteous at all times
• Must possess or be able to obtain a state-issued Unarmed Security Certification
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Ability to perform routine patrols (interior and exterior)
• Ability to lift and carry items as needed to perform job duties
