Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to join our team and help maintain a safe and secure environment at one of our clients locations. The primary responsibilities are to monitor the property for thieves and trespassers. The ideal candidate will be dependable, observant, and comfortable working overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas on foot.
• Regularly scan checkpoint tags throughout the property
• Deter unauthorized activity and ensure a secure environment for tenants and patrons
• Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and incidents promptly and accurately
• Respond to emergencies and follow established safety protocols
• Lock and unlock premises as required
• Interact professionally with tenants, customers, and law enforcement when necessary

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid security license
• Ability to work overnight hours and weekends
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Physical ability to walk and stand for long periods and patrol outdoors in various weather conditions
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security or law enforcement
• Familiarity with scanning checkpoint systems

Certification Requirements:

• Texas Level II Non-Commissioned License
