Schedule: All shifts available, Monday through Sunday
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Part-Time Security Officer to join our team at a gated residential community in Gainesville, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, visitors, and property staff.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a residential community setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access at the gated community entrance.
- Greet residents, guests, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Verify visitor authorization and maintain accurate entry logs.
- Conduct routine patrols of the property as required.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
- Enforce community rules and security procedures in a professional manner.
- Maintain a visible security presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and property management.
Work Environment
This position is located at a gated residential community. Security Officers will interact regularly with residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel.
