Summary/Objective
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-departmental projects that improve company operations, operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and internal processes. The Senior Project Operations Manager will support the COO and executive team by taking ownership of critical initiatives, driving accountability, and delivering measurable outcomes. This position requires strong follow-through, the ability to coordinate across departments, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement and execution.
Essential Functions
- Lead priority projects assigned by the COO and the Executive Team across operations, service delivery, client retention, and internal workflows.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, milestones, and reporting updates.
- Ensure accountability and follow-through among internal stakeholders.
- Identify process inefficiencies and gaps across departments.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Implement systems and process changes that reduce cost, waste, risk, and operational friction.
- Support corporate operations initiatives including compliance, quality control, client transitions, new client onboarding, internal audits, etc.
- Assist departments in improving vendor management, cost control, and contract compliance.
- Track project performance metrics and produce clear status updates for leadership.
- Develop dashboards or summary reporting as needed.
- Support cross-functional use of systems, tools, and software.
- Work with leadership, operations, HR, finance, and sales to solve problems collaboratively.
- Serve as a centralized facilitator for information flow and problem resolution.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or related field
- 15 years of documented project operations, business operations, or program management experience.
- Demonstrated record of successfully managing complex operational initiatives.
- Experience developing SOPs and driving process standardization.
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability.
- Proven ability to lead without formal authority.
- Solid analytical capability and comfort with metrics.
- Experience operationalizing cross-department plans.
