GENERAL INFORMATION
Title: Assistant Coach - Middle School Football	Department: Dunbar Middle School	Salary Grade: N/A FLSA Status: Exempt
Site/Location: Dunbar Middle School	Reports to: Athletic Director	Date: 08/07/2026
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the head coach with the football program. Coaching, instructing and performing other duties necessary to the development of the individuals and the team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists the head coach with planning and running team practice sessions, game preparation, and strength/conditioning. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Past play experience in football. Preference is given to those with coaching experience.

Knowledge of the rules and practices of football

None

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Minimal travel may be required to and/or from sporting events within neighboring localities.
