Your mission
Translate drawings into reality. Choose the smartest approach, set up HAAS equipment (3–4 axis VMCs and HMCs, circa 2014), program in G‑code or conversational at the control, and deliver parts that meet print the first time—often to 0.0005 inch tolerance.
How you’ll contribute
- Own the complete machining workflow: setup, programming, cutting, and final verification.
- Leverage G‑code and conversational programming on HAAS controls to optimize cycle time and quality.
- Machine steel and flame‑cut materials using high‑speed insert tooling strategies.
- Interpret blueprints thoroughly and inspect to confirm all dimensional and quality checkpoints.
- Operate manual equipment (vertical and horizontal boring mills, lathes, Bridgeport‑style mills) as needed.
- Formal training program in machining/manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of manual machining experience.
- At least 3 years programming and operating CNC machines with HAAS panels.
- 10 years of manual machining across all listed machines.
- 5 years with HAAS CNC platforms.
- Working knowledge of Mastercam.
- CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) — Fanuc, HAAS
- Horizontal Machining Center (3–4 axis) — HAAS
- CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) — HAAS
- Manual Vertical Mill — Bridgeport
- Manual Lathe
- Climate‑controlled, clean shop environment; exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Steady hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- No mandatory overtime or weekends; optional OT when available.
