Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience in residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. This role involves working on construction sites, renovating existing electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while demonstrating expertise in reading blueprints and using various testing equipment. Knowledge of NEC codes
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools.
- Work with high voltage and low voltage systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with construction teams to renovate existing electrical systems according to project specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent malfunctions or failures.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Residential Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems as well as low voltage applications.
- Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Competence in using various tools.
