Position Overview
The Contact Center Agent is a sales-focused, inside sales role responsible for handling all incoming calls for locations serviced through the Dumpster Today Call Center. This position drives revenue by converting inquiries into confirmed rentals while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role requires a customer-first approach to support and maintain our brand’s current customer review rating of 4 stars or higher. Agents must confidently manage scheduling, provide accurate pricing quotes, process new rental orders, and answer all rental-related questions while promoting the most appropriate rental solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally for all participating Dumpster Today locations.
· Focus on sales conversion by engaging customers, identifying needs, and recommending the best rental package.
· Provide accurate scheduling, pricing quotes, and rental package details to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
· Process new rental orders, ensuring all required information is collected to prevent failed deliveries or pick-ups.
· Educate customers on rental guidelines, restrictions, and best practices to ensure a smooth rental experience.
· Conduct daily confirmation calls to verify orders and scheduling details.
· Maintain a customer-first culture to protect and grow the company’s review rating of 4 stars or higher.
· Accurately record all customer interactions and transactions in the company’s system.
· Achieve and maintain sales performance targets and operational accuracy.
Performance Measurements
· Closing Ratio: Maintain a minimum of 55% closing rate on all inbound sales opportunities.
· Average Sale Value: Achieve an average sale of $400 or higher.
· Customer Review Rating: Contribute to maintaining or improving a company-wide rating of 4 stars or higher.
· Order Accuracy: Ensure tasks contain complete information to prevent failed deliveries or pick-ups.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
· 1–2 years of customer service, inside sales, or call center experience preferred.
· Strong communication and persuasion skills with a sales mindset.
· Proven ability to recommend solutions that align with customer needs.
· Proficient with computers and quick to learn new systems.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Schedule & Availability
· Required Hours:
o Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
o Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
· Flexibility to work within these hours as assigned.
