Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including flatbed, regional lane, refrigerated trailer, manual transmission, tractor-trailer, tanker, dump truck, and other specialized vehicles
- Transport goods over short or long distances while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining safety protocols
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks - Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and follow delivery schedules
- Ensure all documentation related to deliveries is accurate and complete
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver in various settings
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus - Ability to drive different types of trucks and trailers proficiently
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
