CREW LEAD / DRIVER — DUMP NINJA JUNK REMOVAL Woodland & Davis, CA | Full-Time | $20/hr Tips Commission Profit Sharing Potential

WHO WE ARE

Dump Ninja Junk Removal is a locally-owned junk removal company serving Woodland and Davis, CA. We're not the cheapest option in town — and that's the point. We're the professional choice. Our mission is simple: make our customers' lives better by giving them back their space and time.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Crew Lead / Driver who takes pride in hard work, leads by example, and knows how to make a customer feel taken care of. You'll be the face of Dump Ninja on every job — driving the truck, leading the crew, and making sure every haul gets done right.

Shifts run 7:50 AM to approximately 4:00 PM, five days a week with flexible scheduling. Work is based in Woodland and Davis.

WHAT YOU EARN

• $20.00 per hour base pay

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive the Dump Ninja truck safely and professionally to and from job sites
• Lead the on-site crew — set the pace, delegate, and hold the standard
• Interact directly with customers before, during, and after each job
• Identify upsell opportunities on-site and present them confidently
• Load, haul, and unload items including heavy, bulky, and awkward pieces
• Conduct pre-shift truck inspections and keep equipment clean and stocked
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Represent Dump Ninja's values — Excellence, Generosity, Landfill Diversion — every day

WHAT YOU NEED

• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record (no violations or accidents in the past 3 years)
• Reliable personal transportation — you need to get yourself to work on time, every time
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs throughout the workday
• Strong customer-facing communication skills — you are the face of the company on every job
• Comfortable working in all conditions, including job sites with spiders, insects, mice, and similar critters
• Show up clean, in uniform, and on time — we take our professional image seriously
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and DMV record pull

BONUS POINTS

• Prior experience in junk removal, landscaping, construction, or other physical labor
• Experience driving with a trailer attached
• Previous crew lead or leadership experience in any field

A WORD OF HONESTY

This job is physically demanding. You will be on your feet all day lifting heavy items in garages, attics, and storage units that haven't been touched in years. You may run into bugs, rodents, and unpleasant conditions. If that doesn't bother you and you take pride in doing hard work well, you'll fit right in here. If it does, no hard feelings — this just isn't the right fit.
