We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Smelter Operator to join our manufacturing team. Duties

• Operate and monitor smelting equipment, including furnaces, cranes, and auxiliary machinery to ensure continuous production flow.
• Set up and calibrate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines such as CNC milling machines, lathes, plasma cutters, and laser cutters for precise manufacturing tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to protocols related to welding, machining operations, crane handling, and sheet metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with safety standards in production environments related to welding, machine operation, crane handling, and measurement tools.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurement verification and process adjustments.
• Knowledge of quality inspection procedures utilizing micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Certification or training in forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory.
