If the description below is exciting to you AND you have the skills we're looking for, please submit your resume!Overview: The Claims Specialist is responsible for collecting information about an order accuracy or order quality, collaborating with appropriate internal teams to reach an acceptable recommendation for both the company and our vendors.Primary responsibilities:Analyze and investigate claims and collaborate with appropriate team member(s) to resolveUphold relationships and communication with Sales Representatives and vendorsOrganize and present claim review plansRun and distribute open preliminary claims reports to Sales and Customer Service RepsRun and distribute reports on claims waiting for credits to affected vendors Coordinate and participate in post-peak season reviews to identify process efficiencies and training opportunitiesProcess all necessary credits and debits to the appropriate accountsPerform other duties that support the Operations teamsExperience and Skills: Horticulture or floriculture experience preferredAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in written for at all levels of the organization Ability to work independently and within teams Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy claim process & costAbility to maintain composure and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environmentAbility to listen for understanding
