We are seeking candidates with an active or temporary Florida Class D Security License to join our team in medical facilities in downtown Tampa. 7 am - 4 pm shift availability Mon - Wed requires 2 years of security experience. Outstanding history of client/people skills required!
Responsibilities:
Maintains a safe and secure environment for patients, faculty, and staff by patrolling and monitoring premises.
Job Duties:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
- Professional conflict resolution skills.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Controls traffic by directing drivers.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Ensures equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
