Position Overview:
Dumais Made is looking to hire a part-time Shipping and Receiving Associate. The daily job responsibilities include carefully wrapping & packing ceramics, checking packing slips and orders details, keeping track of shipping logistics, communicating with vendors, clients and the team, and cleaning & restocking as needed. This is a physical job that requires stamina to be on your feet throughout the day and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Shipping & Receiving Duties:
- Wrapping fragile ceramic fixtures & packing boxes.
- Putting together and shipping sample kits.
- Review packing slips for accuracy.
- Creating packing slips & shipping labels for each order and updating Shopify & internal trackers.
- Communicating with third party logistics.
- Scheduling and tracking all white glove, domestic carrier, and freight shipments.
- Communication with clients and the team regarding shipment status.
- Receiving of all shipments and distributing across departments (clay, materials, lampshades, fittings, etc.)
- Cleaning and restocking as needed.
- Implementing Ship station.
Inventory Management Duties:
- Organizing physical inventory of finished products and orders.
- Inventory management via internal systems.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and packing supplies room.
General Expectations:
- Ability to stand on their feet for the whole day & lift fifty pounds if necessary.
- Dependable- more reliable than spontaneous.
- People-oriented- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.
- Adaptable/flexible- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
- Detail-oriented- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture.
- Previous packing experience is a plus but not required.
- Data entry and Ship station- or comparable software- experience a plus but not required.
- High Standard of work.

Pay: Commensurate with experience
