- Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Evenings, Weekends, Holidays, and Travel as needed.

Provides oversight for the MRI department and performs routine to complex diagnostic
technical procedures in the MRI department under the direction of a physician.
- Ensures image quality, excellence in patient care and uninterrupted work flow.
- Maintains technical aspects of MRI safety
- Develop and maintain MRI protocols and communicate with radiologists for standardization
- Ensure ACR accreditation on all scanners
- Respond to PeerVue audits of MRI exams for Quality Improvement Analysis
- Assist with development as needed for new protocols and procedures within the MRI department
- Assist in development of standards for MRI Safety to patients and the public to assure safety and awareness
- Maintain awareness of current issues in MRI Safety for staff and patients.
- Assure that protocols meet existing standards regarding MRI safety standards.
- Educate MRI staff and others regarding new quality initiatives within Radiology
- Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting
- Assure Phantom QA scans are run and accurately recorded in log book
- Recommend new equipment and equipment modification
- Serve as a resource to department staff as well as other members of DuPage Medical Group as needed
- Participate in on-going service and process improvement efforts
- Schedule work assignments
- Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching
- Provide input to staff performance evaluations
- Initiative is demonstrated to proactively diagnose and resolve problems

- Performs duties of MRI Technologist no more than 50% of the work day and admin duties a minimum of 50% of the time.
- Participate in quarterly department meetings

- Graduate of an accredited education program in MRI required.
- ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(MR) or ARMRIT Certified Technologist required.
- BLS - Basic Life Support, AED Adult & Pediatric CPR required.
- Three (3) - five (5) years related experience in the field of MRI with at least 1 year of team leader or supervisory experience
Salary : $35 - $53
