Position Highlights
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Location: Lombard
- Travel: As needed
- Experience as a sleep tech or RN with experience in pulmonary preferred

- Calls patients with Sleep study results after physician interpretation.
- Answers patient's questions, explains the results in a way the patient can understand, and explains the patient's next steps including physician orders for therapy
- Schedules and provides patient education for CPAP. This may include CPAP masks fitting and desensitization.
- Keeps a log of all studies performed and the date the patient was notified of results.
- Schedules follow up visits for physician appointments as per protocol Facilitates patient's timely home set up on CPAP after physician's order.
- Services as a liaison between patient, physician, and DME company regarding CPAP therapy.
- Ensures patients receive CPAP therapy at home within 72 hours of physician's order.
- Completes CMN's for physicians from DME providers.
- Provides Telephone Triage of CPAP issues.
- Responds to all calls from patients and DME providers regarding CPAP use and equipment issues.
- Alerts physicians of significant changes in CPAP compliance or other issues.
- Provides staff education for CPAP units.
- Assists in downloading compliance data from CPAP units.
- Works with physicians and NP to ensure CPAP patients comply with follow up office visit schedule as per protocol
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of normal cardio respiratory, neurological, and sleep physiology
- Strong organizational, verbal and communication skills
- Demonstrate significant work ethic through a positive, motivated attitude
- Ability to adapt in rapidly changing environment
- Ability to understand complex relationships
- RN, RCP; RRT, CRTT, or RPSGT required
- Minimum 5 years' experience with all types of CPAP/Bi-PAP Units
- DME experience for home set up of CPAP units preferred
Salary : $24 - $36
