What You’ll Do:
- Accurately assess asset protection and safety risks and develop prioritized strategies and tactics to mitigate and prevent incidents and loss. Strategies appropriately balance the near-term focuses and longer-range planning.
- Create an environment that provides direction and promotes continuous learning and development.
- Proactively lead sustainable change and execution in alignment via the prioritized risk mitigation strategies. Lead the creation of risk analysis, statistical reports and/or dashboards focused on risk mitigation.
- Lead and generate an employee and guest safety culture that enlists commitment and compliance. Direct, plan, and manage continuous improvement of all safety programs while staying abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Create strategies for continuous program improvements to impact accident prevention and reduce claim expense.
- Attract, select, and lead the best high-caliber talent by recognizing organizational as well as individual needs (current positions tied to the role include: AP Analyst, Fulfillment Center Safety and Security Specialists, and a Safety Specialist).
- Lead shrink reduction and prevention strategies across the company. Provide oversight and expertise for internal and external investigations relating to fraud, theft, and embezzlement.
- Responsible for the creation and execution of the physical security strategies across the enterprise.
- Develop strategies and plans relating to business continuity and disaster preparation and response. Serve as a central leader in the event of such an incident.
- Grasp the full meaning and interrelationships of key financial indicators and utilize the data to drive improvements.
- Engage, inform and educate senior leadership clearly and concisely relating to asset protection and safety strategies. Win acceptance for proposed changes and new initiatives.
- Manage the budgetary and financial responsibilities associated with the asset protection department.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Equivalent work experience would be considered
- 5 years as a Director of Asset Protection in Retail, preferably Omni channel.
- Responsibility for organizational safety is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of multi-store asset protection experience is preferred.
- Experience with the creation of an Asset Protection Department is preferred.

Compensation: $124,000 /Year
Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, federal, state and local minimum wage requirements, etc.
