Dr. Jennifer Zhang and Dr. Tarannum Jaleel has an immediate on site opening for a temporary Research Scholar (three months).
Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).

Position Description:
- Develop research hypothesis through literature review and timely discussions with the PIs, and design experimental procedures to test the hypothesis.
- Perform human and mouse skin explant cultures and subsequent analysis at the RNA and protein levels by RNA-seq, RT-PCR, immunostaining and ELISA.
-Use statistical methods (Excel, GraphPad etc.) to analyze data and present the data in PowerPoint, PDF formats or other formats to other lab members in a weekly basis.
-Keep electronic records of all experimental details and results, and prepare data for manuscript publication.
-Provide technical training to new members including undergrad and graduate students
