The Huang Lab at Duke University in the Department of Pathology is looking for a Research Data Tech to join our team. The lab’s major focus is the study of different aspects of prostate cancer. In this role, you will gain specific exposure to the function and molecular mechanisms of MED31 in prostate cancer carcinogenesis, therapy resistance and disease progression by having the opportunity to perform a variety of duties related to collecting, interpreting, documenting and summarizing descriptive, analytical and evaluative data in support of research.
Daily, you will procure data through observation, interviews and analysis of records and other sources while engaging with the team.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience:
- None required above education/training requirements, but experience/exposure to scientific disciplines related to medical and/or biological research helpful; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly collaborative approach and ability to set and meet clear goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment
- Strict adherence to lab safety protocols
- Good organization and time management
- Ability to work effectively in a team while also being able to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $19.06 to USD $28.85.
