This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Research Director located in Durham, NC, with some flexibility for remote work. The Senior Research Director will oversee research projects, develop strategic research plans, lead multi-disciplinary research teams, and ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. The role involves fostering collaboration across departments, securing research funding through grant writing, maintaining compliance with research standards, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations. The Director will also mentor junior researchers and build partnerships with academic and external stakeholders.

• Strong expertise in research design, data analysis, and quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
• Experience in project management, strategic planning, and team leadership
• Proficiency in preparing grant proposals and securing research funding
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in academic writing and presenting
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build effective partnerships
• Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, public health, or a related discipline
• Experience with compliance regulations and ethical research practices
• Proven track record of published research and impactful contributions to the field
